Maple Pass Hiking Elopement
Maple Pass is one of my favorite fall hikes in North Cascades National Park. If you’re considering it for your hiking elopement, I recommend starting at sunrise like this couple did. You’ll be able to avoid the busy summer crowds, witness the mountains in the best light, and enjoy cooler temperatures during the hottest months in the PNW.
Starry Artist Point Elopement
This short & sweet sunset elopement at Mount Baker was only four hours, but we filled those hours with a stunning ceremony at Picture Lake, a blue hour hike up at Artist Point, and star photos once the night sky grew dark enough to see them. If you're interested in staying out past dark on your elopement, that's always an option!
Marymere Falls Elopement
This elopement took place at Marymere Falls, on the Olympic Peninsula. We started the day at Lake Crescent before hiking down to the falls, then returned to the couple's rental cabin on Lake Sutherland to watch the sunset over a picnic on the dock.
Sunset Elopement at Artist Point
This sunset elopement at Artist Point was one of the most beautiful evenings I've ever witnessed at this iconic Washington mountaintop venue! From the moment we met at Picture Lake until we hiked out to Huntoon Point for star photos, the dramatic lighting made every image feel like a fairytale.
Winchester Lookout Sunrise Elopement
The fire lookout at Winchester Mountain might be my favorite location for a sunrise elopement in Washington state! The lookout itself is open to overnight camping on a first-come basis. If you want to hike up at sunrise, it'll only take about an hour to reach the top from the trailhead. Be aware that the road to this trailhead is rough and unpaved, but the views are worth it!
Washington Rainforest Elopement
Theres no place more beautiful, romantic, or inspiring than the old-growth forests of the Hoh rainforest in Washington state. Part of Olympic National Park, this Washington rainforest is one of my favorite places for couples to elope in the PNW!
Ecola State Park Wedding
This wedding took place on Earth Day in Cannon Beach, Oregon with a cliffside ceremony at Ecola State Park. The location was perfect for this couple, who deeply love nature and The Goonies (anyone recognize that location from the film?!) Details include the most beautiful floral wedding dress, a stunning sunset, and some incredible Oregon coast nature venues!
Hall of Mosses & Ruby Beach Elopement
This Hoh Rainforest elopement started with a rainy hike through the Hall of Mosses and ended with a beautiful sunset at Ruby Beach. This couple enjoyed the best of the wild PNW and celebrated their relationship in the most authentic way!
Redwoods National Park Elopement
Want to elope amongst giant redwood trees in one of the most beautiful old-growth forests on earth? Redwood National Park should be at the top of your list! This northern California elopement location is absolutely stunning, truly wild, and incredibly romantic.
Autumn Elopement at Picture Lake
This elopement at Picture Lake began at an A-frame cabin in Glacier, WA and ended with a beautiful sunset at Artist Point. It took the best of a Washington summer in the mountain to the brink of a crisp autumn evening. It was a beautiful farewell to warm weather this year.
North Cascades Elopement
I’ve photographed quite a few elopements in the North Cascades, and each one is incredibly beautiful in it’s own way. This August elopement has some of the most dramatic sunset colors I’ve ever witnessed!
Mount Baker Elopement
This Mount Baker elopement began with a sunrise hike for the couple to enjoy a moment alone, followed by an intimate ceremony with a dozen of their loved ones on a rocky outcropping with incomparable views of Shuksan and Kulshan.
North Cascades Wedding Ceremony
This North Cascades wedding ceremony took place on a rocky ledge overlooking a stunning view of Mount Baker. The hike up is steep, but take your time and enjoy all the wildflowers along the way!
Skagit Valley Forest Elopement
This forest wedding took place on land that has been in their family for generations. Off a quiet rural backroad in Skagit County, these two beautiful souls invited their friends and family to come walk in the woods to where they had set up a circle of tree stumps as chairs.
Lake Tahoe Wedding Adventure Hike
This hiking wedding on the north shore of Lake Tahoe was a sweet “just us” moment for an adventurous couple who also had a larger, more traditional wedding surrounded by their loves ones. The best of both worlds!
New Mexico Elopement at Pecos
A truly southwest style wedding at Pecos National Park in Santa Fe, followed by sunset portraits with a vintage car in the national forest.
El Rancho De Las Golondrinas Wedding
El Rancho de las Golondrinas is an LGBT-friendly wedding venue in the southwest desert of Santa Fe, New Mexico. On a sunny day during monsoon season, S & G got married at the base of an ancient cottonwood grove.
Forest Wedding in Ruidoso
This intimate family wedding in Ruidoso, New Mexico boasted intricate details, a quiet forest ceremony, and a short hike for stunning portraits in the mountains!
Wintery Elopement in Bandalier
Bandelier National Forest is an area outside of Los Alamos, New Mexico and only a short drive from Santa Fe or Albuquerque. This mountainous region is home to some of the greenest forests of the state, historic calderas from ancient volcanos, and beautiful overlooks of the mountains.
Family Wedding on a Boat in San Diego
This boat wedding in the San Diego Marina was stunning! The golden sunset light was perfect during the ceremony, and the small collection of dear friends who came together to celebrate A & J were the most supportive, loving folks. I couldn’t image a more perfect way to get married with your loved ones present!
