Engagement at Mount Baker

Mount Baker is a popular spot near Bellingham for engagement photos, and for good reason! Shuksan and Kulshan stand tall and beautiful amidst pine forests, waterfalls, and alpine lakes. Snow remains on the ground in varying stages year-round, and from here you can hike any distance you want to find areas of total seclusion out in nature. But, if you’re unable or unwilling to hike, the drive-up accessible views are truly stunning! I can’t imagine a more accessible, more beautiful location to celebrate love!

This session was an especially sweet one for me. I’ve known Ariane for 11 years—we met the first week of our freshman year at Western Washington University. We grew close, and stayed in touch as our lives went remarkably different directions over the next decade. Somehow, after many moves, we’ve found ourselves back in Bellingham. She and Tyler are the sweetest couple! I’m so happy to see my friend happy, and the adventurous spirit these two share is truly something to witness. I can’t wait to see what adventures they get up to together!
