Second Beach Engagement
This beautiful engagement session in La Push took place at one of my favorite spots on the Washington coast—Second Beach. The stunning hike in is less than a mile of mossy forest leading to a short, steep staircase down to the beach. Right off the shoreline, the views are made even more dramatic by rocky islands and an amazing view of the sunset!
Rosario Beach Engagement
Rosario Beach is one of my favorite spots for engagement shoots on Fidalgo Island, near Anacortes, Washington. It’s part of Deception Pass State Park, and the trails are moderately difficult but relatively short loops with rewarding views. If you love tide pools, island views, and dramatic cliffsides then you should consider visiting Rosario Beach!
Bellingham Beach Engagement Photos
Bellingham has many beaches that make the perfect backdrop for engagement photos! This one, Locust Beach, has a long shoreline with views of the city of Bellingham that shine at sunset and Lummi Island to the north.
June Proposal at Mount Rainier
This early summer proposal took place at Paradise in Mount Rainier National Park on a typically snowy day in June. The couple, who had traveled up from a warm climate and lower elevation were amazed by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest!
Engagement Photos at Mount Rainier
Mount Rainier National Park is one of the most beautiful and unique locations in the US for engagement photos, proposals, adventure elopements, and weddings. If you love the mountains, this is the place for you!
Love and Sand Dunes in Brookings
The day before these two got married, we explored the Oregon coast just north of Brookings and enjoyed an afternoon on the beach amongst the sand dunes.
Engagement at Mount Baker
Early June is an odd time to be in the mountains in Washington state—the peaks are still inaccessible & covered in snow, ski season has passed but summer hiking season hasn’t quite started—and the result is a quiet atmosphere with near total privacy! If you’re flexible to account for transition season weather, June in the mountains is truly remarkable.
Rio Grande Gorge Engagement
Engagement photos at the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge in Taos, New Mexico | This sweet couple’s session took place two days before C & D tied the knot in The Land of Enchantment. It was cold and a little snowy, but the sun was shining!
Engagement Photos in Flagstaff, Arizona
Engagement Photos in Flagstaff, Arizona | Check out these stunning sunset photos from a recent engagement session in Flagstaff. This was a discounted add-on to an elopement photo package, and a perfect way for the couple to get comfortable in front of the camera before their big day!
Oregon Waterfall Couples Session
This couples session at Latourell Falls took place at one of my favorite Oregon waterfall hikes! Did you know there are more than 200 amazing waterfalls in Oregon that you can hike out to?! They make the perfect backdrop for your engagement, elopement or small outdoor wedding!
Astoria Couples Session
This Astoria, Oregon couples session began on the coast near the Peter Iredale shipwreck - we explored along the mossy coastal forests & then went downtown to Astoria historic waterfront shops & adventured amongst the beautiful old buildings!
Hug Point Waterfall Couples Session
Hug Point is one of my favorite beach locations for an engagement shoot, couples session, or adventurous elopement near Portland, Oregon on the coast. There are forested trails, gorgeous cliffs, and even a waterfall that flows directly into the ocean. It is also one of the most accessible beach destinations in Oregon that isn’t super crowded all the time.
