Witch’s Castle Portrait Session
Forest Park—Portland, OR
I met with Linnea on a cold January morning for this Forest Park Portrait Session.
Linnea is a fashion blogger in Portland, Oregon. She was stoked when I suggested meeting at Forest Park to get some moody winter images in a white dress. On this particular week, it had been snowing heavily in the mountains and we were waiting in town to see if the weather would turn in Portland as well. Thankfully, we had a relatively dry morning for this shoot. (Dry in the Pacific Northwest just means not actively raining - the ground was soaked). I asked probably a dozen too many times whether Linnea was warm enough!
We hiked out to the Witches Castle to get bridal portraits. Linnea’s lacy dress paired with the bouquet (made by me), were hauntingly gorgeous amongst the moss-covered trees and crumbling building. Forest Park is the epitome of a PNW elopement location, but I’d recommend either dressing a little warmer or waiting until the sun comes back this summer.
You can read more from Linnea about this shoot on her blog HERE.
