Santa Fe Elopement
This romantic at-home elopement was a beautiful break from the uncertainties of 2020 – when the pandemic hit New York, where they both work, Victoria & Alán transitioned to their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico to experience the peace of wide open desert. They expected the move would be short-term, but at the time of their elopement they had been in the southwest for months, and were falling deeper in love with Santa Fe! We explored their quiet neighborhood, and watched the sunset from a hill above their property. Their gorgeous adobe-style home was the perfect backdrop to this elopement – beautiful, elegant, & enchanting.

Quiet At-Home Elopement
Victoria & Alán’s home is clearly a haven for them – as we walked the halls filled with natural light and talked about where they wanted to exchange rings, they shared with me the long history of their small neighborhood. Victoria was proud that Las Dos had begun with two women homesteaders who went against the gender expectations of their time to create a self-sufficient paradise in the desert.
The sun beams streaming through every window made this adobe-style home glow with intentional craftsmanship. We explored the perfectly-manicured garden, and sat on the porch in chairs Alán told me were their nightly sunset-viewing spot. On this night though, we walked a short way up the hill from their house to a spot overlooking the Jemez mountains to the west, and the Sangre de Cristo range to the east.

From the couple:
“It was such a pleasure working with Jenn! Not only did she capture absolutely stunning photos of our elopement but she was so easygoing and fun to work with. Jenn has a true gift for making her clients feel calm and comfortable during the shoot, which helps make the photos look natural and candid. She is also incredibly patient, kind and collaborative and genuinely works hard to bring her client's vision to life. We are thrilled with our elopement photos and hope to work with her and Wild Coast Photography again in the future.”
