Tamarindo is one of my favorite beach towns in Costa Rica! It’s busier than many other places, so take that into consideration, but it’s popular for a reason. The beaches are stunning, endless stretches of beautiful sand. The food is plentiful and delicious, and there are endless unique places to stay. I’ve photographed quite a few elopements in the North Cascades, and each one is incredibly beautiful in it’s own way. This August elopement has some of the most dramatic sunset colors I’ve ever witnessed!

This Mount Baker elopement began with a sunrise hike for the couple to enjoy a moment alone, followed by an intimate ceremony with a dozen of their loved ones on a rocky outcropping with incomparable views of Shuksan and Kulshan.

This North Cascades wedding ceremony took place on a rocky ledge overlooking a stunning view of Mount Baker. The hike up is steep, but take your time and enjoy all the wildflowers along the way!

The day before these two got married, we explored the Oregon coast just north of Brookings and enjoyed an afternoon on the beach amongst the sand dunes.

July is Disability Pride Month, and I’ve never been more proud of anything than I am of how Dillen has adapted since becoming an amputee after a traumatic bike accident. He works harder than anyone I know to make his days as good as possible under circumstances he never imagined for his life. So this is a celebration of my love <3

Early June is an odd time to be in the mountains in Washington state—the peaks are still inaccessible & covered in snow, ski season has passed but summer hiking season hasn’t quite started—and the result is a quiet atmosphere with near total privacy! Bandelier National Forest is an area outside of Los Alamos, New Mexico and only a short drive from Santa Fe or Albuquerque. This mountainous region is home to some of the greenest forests of the state, historic calderas from ancient volcanos, and beautiful overlooks of the mountains.
